1960 RED Hagstrom III All original Pro Setup Original Softshell Case
Out of stock
Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting..
What a find! A very early 1960 Made in Sweden, Hagstrom III Electric Guitar in RED, WITH the original Softshell Case..
This beautiful guitar was completely gone over by out Techs and is operating as it should. We set it up with awesome low playing action for playing comfort. The necks were known in the day as the fastest guitar necks due to the low frets and slim necks. Always fun to play these cool guitars.
This guitar is all original to include the tuners, pickups, bridge, Hagstrom bridge switches, logos and decals. Don’t forget the really nice original Softshell Case. Its is still in great shape as well. Check those pics..
This Guitar is very clean for its age...A lot of little play on it but all honest player wear... The neck is great..all the finish has been worn off the back... The frets still have plenty of life yet! ... Setup great with a set of new 10's..It sounds awesome!
Heres some info I found on the web regarding these cool guitars…
A Pioneering guitar in style and function.
Hagström [ˈhɑːɡstrœm] is a musical instrument manufacturer in Älvdalen, Dalecarlia, Sweden. Their original products were accordions that they initially imported from Germany and then Italy before opening their own facility in 1932. During the late 1950s, the company started making electric guitars and late ramplifiers. The early guitars were heavily influenced by the accordion production and had a special look and feel. Hagström were the first company to mass-produce 8 string bass guitars as well as the first to build a guitar/synthesizer hybrid (Swede Patch 2000). The company ceased production in 1983.
Guitar players and collectors consider HAGSTROM Guitars as being one of the iconic brands of all time and their guitars being some of the best made during the company’s existence. Hagstrom claimed that its guitars as having the “fastest playing necks in the industry”.
This Cool Hagstrom guitar is very clean....just superficial dings and scratches as expected on a 1960’s vintage guitar.
The original case is also in very good shape. Only the handle has been replaced. Latches and hinges work as they should and it still has the accessory box with it! Nice case for this really cool guitar!
This guitar is cool but sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used. However, I have been hand picking my customers guitar for over 17 years now and all my customers love the guitars I find. This one will not be an exception. Check my Feedbacks.
Thanks for checking out our cool guitars.
