Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting..

A beautiful , really cool, 2012 Gibson Les Paul Special…This is not one of the matte finish Les Paul…it is a high gloss finish that looks incredible. Beautiful Mahogany body that looks great… and it comes with a  Deluxe Hard Shell Case!

This all original 2012 Gibson Les Paul Special has a gorgeous mahogany body finished in cherry. The solid body, dual Humbucking pickups, single cutaway guitar is both simple and elegant. The mahogany neck has a rosewood fretboard with 10 dot inlays, 22 frets and is fully bound. It has a 24 3/4" scale neck and a nut width of 1 3/4" … The neck feels wonderful . They are more like the 50’s Necks than the skinny 60’s necks. Not as beefy as the 50’s but noticeably thicker. It feels great in the hand.

The Pickups sound massive. I played it for a long time last nite and enjoyed it a lot. You can get all the Les Paul tones you want from this beauty. Without the weight. It only weighs 7 lbs 9 ozs.

The frets looks almost untouched…it has a few dings and scratches of course. It has three small round spots around the bridge and tailpiece. Not sure what they are there for. Hard to take a pic and tough to see but they are noted. The only thing we did was change the original strings to a new set of 9’s and clean it up. Its just beautiful…

Here’s the info we found on the internet regarding these cool guitars…

Gibson Les Paul Special

Introduced in 1954 as an entry-level version of the Les Paul, the Les Paul Junior graduated from kids bedrooms, to garage bands, to club and arena stages through the course of three decades as it became a favorite of beginners and professional players alike. The bare-bones, slab-bodied, single-cutaway electric earned the respect of rock and rollers in particular, and became a punk favorite in the late ™70s and early ™80s, but also turned up in the hands of a surprisingly diverse range of guitar stars. As simple as the Les Paul Junior was in design and construction, its basic cornerstone ingredients added up to create a robust and toneful instrument. The marriage of its resonant mahogany body, sturdy glued-in Gibson neck, and now a pair of Gibson 490 humbucking pickups has created a guitar with surprising reserves of power and crunch at an extremely appealing price. Now the Les Paul Jr Special w/ humbuckers reproduces the simple pleasures of that 55-year-old classic, while updating the format with a second pickup in the neck position (a la the Les Paul Special), and improved hardware in the form of a tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece combination.
