Out of stock
Today, Lawman Guitars is Proudly Presenting...
A beautiful 2014 Road Worn Fender Telecaster Guitar with a Super Hot Original Fender Tex Mex Pickups, original Fender Gigbag, and even all the cool original Case Candy!!
We got this from a Pro Player here in Des Moines He was the original and only owner…This is how a cool Road Worn will look after 3 years of Pro Play! It looks incredible…Love the finish wear and even the cigarette burn in the headstock…He has this Tele looking like its been on the road for 20 years...It shows lots of character. Really great yellowing of the original see thru butterscotch finish, the black guard is still great but well used! I love the wear on the arm area from lots of gigs....It was played a lot but not abused and extremely well cared for....
This guitar weighs in at 7 lbs 10 ozs... Incredible sustain with this beauty!
Heres some info I found on the Fender Web Site regarding these cool Made in Mexico Tele Guitars!
Aged to Perfection
Those who prize older instruments with the battered look of years on the road and the scars of countless gigs can still have that authentically aged vibe without spending decades on the road themselves. The irresistibly cool look of finish worn through to the wood, rusted hardware, a bruised neck and yellowing plastic parts are yours right away with Road Worn instruments. The Road Worn '50s Telecaster sounds, looks and feels like it's been there and back, has more than a few miles on it, and then some. With authentic 1950s styling aged to impart a lifetime of wear and tear that has somehow made it get even better, it's a must-have for the guitar player who appreciates broken-in look and vibe.
- 1950s style with aged/worn body, neck, finish and hardware touches
- Maple neck with “C” profile
- 7.25”-radius maple fingerboard with 21 narrow jumbo frets
- Dual Tex-Mex™ single-coil pickups with three-way switching
- Vintage-style string-through-body Telecaster bridge with three chrome “barrel” saddles
- Worn nitrocellulose-lacquer finish
The narrow jumbo frets are taller and slightly narrower than their medium jumbo cousins, making them especially effective for bending notes.
These have great feeling 7.25" Fingerboard Radius. The fingerboard radius is an important spec that describes the amount of curvature across the width of the fingerboard. This instrument has a 7.25" fingerboard radius, with a more pronounced "vintage-style" curvature typical of Fender guitars from the 1950s, ’60 and ’70s. It’s the way to go for those who grew up with vintage instruments or simply prefer the feel of greater fingerboard curvature.
The Tex-Mex single-coil pickups on these guitars are over-wound for tight, clear bass, sparkling high end and maximum output ideal for everything from soaring clean tone to earthy Texas grit.
Our Techs set this beauty up with great low playing action with a new set of 9 gauge strings..You have plenty of room to raise or lower it to your liking..This guitar sounds stupid good...the Fender Pickups are Hot, hot, hot...I really like these......the neck feels awesome and it has easy playing great action ...
Sold as shown with the Fender Deluxe Gigbag. Its still in great shape. It also comes with the shown original Case Candy which includes the Owners Manual. Check those pics!
Now this guitar is uber cool but old and vintage so it will be sold as-is no returns... However, I have been hand picking my customers guitar for over 20 years now and they all loved the guitars I found them…this cool Tele will certainly not be an exception...
Thanks for checking out our cool guitars.
