Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting..
What a find! A 1963 Made in Sweden, Hagstrom I Guitar in RED, WITH the original form fitting Deluxe Softshell Case..
This beautiful guitar was completely gone over by out Techs and is operating as it should. We set it up with awesome low playing action for playing comfort. The necks were known in the day as the fastest guitar necks due to the low frets and slim necks. Always fun to play these cool guitars.
This guitar is all original to include the tuners, pickups, bridge, Hagstrom bridge switches, whammy bar, whammy bridge, logos and decals. Don’t forget the awesome Gray with Gold Plush, Hagstrom Deluxe Softshell Case. Its is still in great shape as well. Check those pics..
This guitar is as clean as they come...Only a couple places where the back vinyl is a little frayed..see pics 5 and 6…also, one bridge grommet is missing from the back..see pic 13..Very little play on this cool guitar. Check those frets! Setup great with a set of new 10’s..It sounds awesome!
Heres some info I found on the web regarding these cool guitars…
A Pioneering guitar in style and function.
Hagström [ˈhɑːɡstrœm] is a musical instrument manufacturer in Älvdalen, Dalecarlia, Sweden. Their original products were accordions that they initially imported from Germany and then Italy before opening their own facility in 1932. During the late 1950s, the company started making electric guitars and late ramplifiers. The early guitars were heavily influenced by the accordion production and had a special look and feel. Hagström were the first company to mass-produce 8 string bass guitars as well as the first to build a guitar/synthesizer hybrid (Swede Patch 2000). The company ceased production in 1983.
Guitar players and collectors consider HAGSTROM Guitars as being one of the iconic brands of all time and their guitars being some of the best made during the company’s existence. Hagstrom claimed that its guitars as having the “fastest playing necks in the industry”.
This guitar is in great shape.. just superficial dings and scratches as expected on a 1960’s vintage guitar. The case is as nice as the guitar..check those pics!
This guitar is cool but sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used. However, I have been hand picking my customers guitar for over 17 years now and all my customers love the guitars I find. This one will not be an exception. Check my Feedbacks.
Thanks for checking out our cool guitars.
